I'm a writer and producer interested in the intersections between the arts and social justice movements in the Caribbean and how these manifest in our festivals. I describe myself as a jouvayist as I'm deeply connected to the idea that Jouvay is a moment of reflection on freedom in the past, how we experience it now and how we want to imagine this freedom in the future. I'm excited about the ways we communicate feeling and meaning in our daily lives. I'm passionate about storytelling and the transference of Caribbean culture and memory to digital platforms.
