Samuel Sanon
music producer
"Samuel Sanon Born in Plaisance du Nord, I come from a family that loved music. From compas to riddim, I was immersed in music from an early age. But I decided to join in late in life. While studying sociology and anthropology, I started using Fruity Loop to produce my first sounds. Driven by my love for beat-making and on the advice of Power Surge, whom I was assisting, I decided in 2016 to start studying Sound Engineering at Audio Institute. An adventure that brought me considerable technical added value for better definition and construction of my sounds. This knowledge enabled me to work with Kanis while I was still a music student, and I had an internship at Wave Master Studio in Tiansito. After these studies, I had a clear vision of my music, which revolves around 3 pillars: simplicity, emotion and live instrumentation. They allow my music to be as alive as the soul of the Haitian. And my work has enabled me to collaborate with well-known Haitian artists and groups such as Trouble Boy, Fatima, Baky, Boukman Experyans and foreign artists. Today, I'm that artist who shares his knowledge on a Youtube channel to help younger people in the business, and I also sell my creations on my online store. But one of my most important battles is integrating young people into the industry and making the Haitian music market formal. "
