"My name is Anya Ayoung-Chee. I am a Fashion Designer, Social Entrepreneur and Activist for Women’s Rights. I wear several hats that each fall within three pillars that represent my core interests and purpose - Women’s Empowerment, Social Entrepreneurship and Creative Sovereignty. I am in a continuous state of evolution professionally to fulfill each of these areas of focus, currently under these titles - Co-Founder/Director of NUDGE Caribbean, Creative Director of WYLD FLWR and Anya Ayoung Chee Limited, Director of the Together WI Foundation, Co-creator of the Leave Me/She Alone Campaign against Gender Based Violence, Director of spöol and most recently, Co-founder of WHO SHE FEEL SHE IS. In 2011 I won the US fashion reality program, Project Runway, despite having little to no sewing skills but very strong intuition, and a healthy dose of naïveté. That experience catapulted my career as a designer, and sparked a now unrelenting desire to use my platform and resources to create as many opportunities as possible for creatives and entrepreneurs to fulfill their wildest dreams. I am a mother of the most incredible son, Kaïri, and wife to my partner and wing man, Wyatt Gallery."
